April 1, 2026 is Cemetery Clean Up for the Charles Street Pet Cemetery and Arlington Memorial Park. All items will be removed from the gravesites except the shepherd hook. Please remove anything you wish to keep by March 31, 2026. Please wait until clean up is completed to bring spring florals or Easter decorations.
2nd Annual Animal Rescue and Pet Expo presented by Lisa's Little Rescue
This expo is taking place Saturday, March 21, 2026 from 11am to 4pm at the UW Sports Factory at 305 South Madison Street in Rockford. The expo will be featuring animal rescue groups, wildlife rehabiltion organizations and pet products and services companies. There will be adoptable animals to visit and people from the organizations and companies will be on hand to answer questions and show what services and/or products they have. The Charles Street Pet Cemetery will be among the organizations and companies setting up at the Expo.
